For those who are willing to look inside
I created "Hiding" to act as an observer. As you look inside, it looks back at you, but who is it really? They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and it is my intention to have this piece act as a mirror into our very own selves. We often shut away difficult memories, but this painting urges us to confront them and free yourself from its grasp. Ponder on how they have affected you and who you are today because of them. Now give them love, give them confirmation, and give them acceptance - Take a moment to do that.
"Hiding" isn't just a painting, but a prompt. What hidden parts of ourselves are we ready to acknowledge today?

We create armors in order to protect ourselves
I stand, a fortress of solitude, my body a shield against the world. The past, a heavy weight, casts a long shadow over my present. My hair, once a symbol of freedom, now a barrier, both protecting and imprisoning.
This mask I wear, hides a vulnerable soul. I yearn to break free from this self-imposed exile, to shed the armor that has become a part of me. I long for connection, for love, safety, but the walls I have forged stand tall, blocking any attempt to bridge the gap.
To truly grow, I must turn my attention inward. I must learn to nurture my soul. By practicing self-compassion, I can begin to dismantle the walls I have built. I can learn to trust myself, to believe in my own worthiness, and to embrace the beauty of vulnerability. As I pour love into myself, I will naturally attract love from others.

The foundation for inner strength
In a world that seeks to dim my light, I remind myself that I am the embodiment of resilience. The weight of the past, presses upon my shoulders. Yet, I refuse to succumb to despair. In the depths of my soul, a spark ignites, a flame of hope that refuses to be extinguished.
This third eye, a symbol of inner wisdom, guides me through the darkness. It is a reminder of my strength, my power, and my unwavering spirit. I have learned to love myself, to embrace my imperfections, and to rise above adversity.
I am impervious to the storms that rage around me.

This journey is filled with promise. With each step, I am discovering new strengths, new passions. I am embracing the challenges, knowing that they will shape me into the person I am meant to be. I am shedding the old, embracing the new, and stepping into the light of my own destiny.
